Maybe you find your family wonderful, loving and supportive. Maybe you have a challenging relationship with your family. Perhaps you don’t even have any connection to your family. Whatever your relationship, your family is part of you and when you sing for them you heal yourself.

This beautiful evening of chanting is to bring healing to your family, to your ancestors and to yourself.

You can chant for those who are long gone or recently departed, for those who are still with you and those who are to come. You can chant whether you loved them, whether you never knew them or whether they drove you up the wall. You can sing for peace and healing for you and all your family and perhaps as you sing you will feel them singing for you.

“My dear young cousin, if there's one thing I've learned over the eons, it's that you can't give up on your family, no matter how tempting they make it.”

― Rick Riordan

We will begin with a little gentle yoga and pranayama to release tension from the body and open up the lungs. Then connect with your voice and vibration through the meditative chanting and singing. Relax, let go and heal with the lovely vibration of the gong.
Stay for a cup of tea after class for a chance to share and connect!

Bring a mat, cushion/block and blanket/shawl (I have a few spares) a water bottle and clothes you can move in.

The monthly "gong and chanting" and "meditative dance" workshops are £15, or just £25 if you book both in a month. Book one workshop below or go to the main booking page for instructions for booking multiple workshops.
