This evening set your intention to heal. This can be a healing for a physical ailment,, an emotional or mental issue. It can be for yourself, or for someone else. Then let go and allow the body and the music to put your intention into action. Trust in your body, it knows how to heal. Let go of the mind and its stories and enjoy the beauty of however it feels to move.
About Meditative Dance:
Meditative Dance is a lovely space of music, guided and free movement, stillness and silence, connecting and sharing. With the eyes closed the body can feel how it wants to move with the music, creating shape motion and rhythm without the need to look any particular way. It can be deeply healing and transformative to connect with the body in this way. We move from shaking through to more creative movement, to stillness, to deep resting in silence and then a space to share if we wish our experience or our story. We close the class with the heavenly prayer of light chant.
And stay after for a cup of tea and a chat!
No need to be able to dance or be fit. Just bring yourself, a mat and blanket/shawl (I have a few spares), a water bottle and clothes you can move in.
