Love Peace Light Universal Prayer

A lovely meditation to do to connect to yourself and feel filled with, supported and surrounded by peace, love and light.
Sit in a comfortable position, or lie down. The hands are over the heart or relaxed in the lap or by the sides. Chant for 3-11 minutes mentally or aloud.

If you have a difficult emotion or thought, you can chant this mantra to the emotion or thought - “love before you” etc.

With any meditation practice it's important to throw away your expectations about how it should feel and what you should experience. Every meditation is different, every moment is unique! All you have to do is be curious and kind and allow each moment to be as it is. And, yes, this includes noticing that you are really battling with this moment or if you notice that you keep getting completely distracted! Meditation is a training for the mind and the meditations that don’t go so “well” are a wonderful opportuntity to learn about the mind, body and emotions with some gentle curiosity.
